A time-honored tradition, the St. George Art Festival, brings artist and visitors from all over the United States to the beautiful Historic District of St. George, each Spring on Easter Weekend. What started 30 years ago, as a small showcasing of local talent, has developed into a largely celebrated event, featuring just over one hundred jury selected artist and thousands of original works of art. Hosted outdoors, in the mild, sunny weather of southern Utah, exhibits line the streets, while live entertainment, great food, and fun activities make the festival enjoyable for the whole family.

Each booth at the St. George Art Festival displays artwork from a different artist. Water colors, oils, sculptures, photography, drawings, pottery, and a number of additional categories are displayed, judged, and awarded for their excellence. Plus, many fine creations are available for purchase.

For entertainment, three separate stages feature performing arts, dancing, and live music throughout the event. There is even a children's activity center with crafts, games, face painting, and art projects to satisfy the younger guests. Plus, many visitors are drawn out by the festival's great selection of quality ethnic foods, including Native American, Greek, Mexican, Italian, Polynesian, and American BBQ cuisine.
